We would like to dedicate the first part of our series to the buzzword \u201cMinimum Viable Product.\u201d A Minimum Viable Product is defined as a product that is minimally usable or viable. It has just enough basic functions to be used by its users.
The best way to achieve a Minimum Viable Product is through an iterative development process. The goal is to gain a holistic understanding of the usage context and to reduce the product\u2019s complexity as much as possible. Together with our clients\u2019 users, our UXD team develops a workflow that helps meet their usage needs. In addition to minimizing market risks and project financing costs, this approach also helps avoid financial setbacks.
Every iterative process begins with the question of the usage context. Building on this, usage requirements and workflow descriptions are developed, which form the basis for use cases. These must be formulated and then prioritized. Defining goals, users, and user tasks helps clarify what content the desired application must include. Next, a high-level user flow is created to flesh out the application. This process fosters a significantly improved shared understanding of both the overall process and the product to be developed. Using the insights gained, a minimum viable product (MVP) can be derived in collaboration with the customers. After the product is launched, user feedback is collected to further develop it. Feedback is integrated on an ongoing basis.
In the world of UXD, a product is never truly finished. It is always in development. This mindset makes it possible to adapt the product over time. This allows our clients to respond promptly to market developments and user needs and to enhance their product with new features, for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Augmented Reality (AR) in the B2B Sector<\/h2>\n\n\n\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/test.itsonix.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/AR-1024x622.jpg\")

The next trend identified by our UXD team is the use of augmented reality in the B2B world. While many people today still associate AR with the entertainment and gaming industries, the integration of AR elements into production and service processes will play an increasingly important role in the future. Here at IT Sonix, we\u2019re already receiving a growing number of inquiries along these lines.
For the transportation and logistics industry, where we have a significant customer base, such integration can be of considerable importance. For example, we have developed a fleet management system that supports truck drivers in their daily work. The application provides information on navigation, vehicle data, and driving and rest periods. It is available as a smartphone app and on a dedicated handheld device in the vehicle.
Our UXD team has developed a use case that involves integrating AR elements into this product. For example, drivers could wear an AR headset when picking up their freight at the warehouse. Enriched with the right data, the headset could display not only the actual surroundings but also which cargo fits into the truck. It\u2019s also conceivable that the system could provide loading suggestions\u2014for example, based on the order of delivery. It could even incorporate rules and regulations and, in the event of imminent violations, not only warn drivers but also prevent the truck from starting.
At first glance, the possibilities for integrating AR elements into production and service processes seem virtually limitless. The challenge facing UX designers in the future will be not only to demonstrate the necessary innovative thinking but, above all, to develop applications that offer economically sustainable benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the third installment of our series, we\u2019d like to focus on the development of intelligent digital assistants.
Chatbots are probably the most widely used tool in this segment. They are used in customer support and in many other points of contact between companies and their customers. UX designers see new challenges, particularly in making these bots smarter and more efficient.
Through the development of smart assistants for large call centers, we have already gained relevant experience in the areas of speech recognition and navigation. Based on responses\u2014as well as their wording and intonation\u2014the assistants determine how to adapt the customer service script to positively and purposefully influence the course of the conversation.
The key to developing intelligent digital assistants lies in comprehensive user research. It is essential to analyze users\u201e language habits. Only in this way can we thoroughly determine whether the digital assistant should have multiple language registers (technical terms, plain language, etc.) and when it should use which register. In addition, the most common use cases and the most relevant questions for each specific context must be identified. This enables our UX designers to give their digital assistant a \u201cpersonality\u201d that aligns with its scope of responsibilities. To train the algorithms behind digital assistants, IT Sonix maintains close collaboration between employees from the UX design and data science departments. This collaboration will become increasingly important in the future, as the number of digital assistants and their complexity continue to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this post, we\u2019d like to draw attention to a trend that brings together two seemingly opposing processes in the world of UXD.
UX designers are currently facing challenges on two fronts. While the complexity of features continues to increase, the pursuit of minimalism in design remains a constant. As interfaces integrate more and more data sources, it is all the more important to design user interfaces that are intuitive and easy to understand.
Modern, high-performance UX products must provide solutions for complex, interlinked workflows across all modules in order to meet ever-increasing demands. At IT Sonix, we have gained experience with such complex use cases, particularly in the field of vehicle logistics.
If a delivery vehicle breaks down, both drivers and fleet management staff must act quickly. They must arrange for the shipment to be transported to its destination and have the damaged vehicle taken to the nearest repair shop. This requires additional personnel (drivers, towing services, etc.). Everyone involved in the process needs fast, accurate, and clear information tailored to their specific role\u2014such as the truck\u2019s location or the status of the delivery.
For this task management solution, our UXD team developed a design system that could be integrated into a dashboard, among other places, to visualize complex issues. The dashboard provides all essential information about critical events requiring action at a glance. This allows drivers to respond to changes quickly and independently, without the need for time-consuming follow-up inquiries. The basic version is minimalist and includes all essential features. As the level of interaction increases, so do users\u2019 expectations of this basic version and their desire for a broader range of features. The product offers our customers the option to activate add-ons via in-app purchases.
The challenge for the future will continue to be translating complex relationships and large amounts of data into a minimalist user interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the penultimate installment of our series, we\u2019d like to take a closer look at the interplay between brands and UX.
As the number of digital products continues to grow, brands must ensure that they provide a consistent, unified, and recognizable customer experience. Brands are \u201ealive\u201c and, now more than ever, subject to constant change. But it\u2019s not just products that are changing; the touchpoints between companies and their customers are also increasingly digital. The sum of these interactions is crucial to how a brand is perceived. Digital touchpoints are now of fundamental importance for successful brand design and communication. Emerging virtual environments (such as metaverses) require an ever-wider range of brand-specific design and thus create a growing need for consistency across all products, services, and touchpoints. The goal is to bring the brand to life in a digital world.
This is exactly where UX designers can step in and make a valuable contribution to a brand\u2019s design and perception. In this context, our UXD team identifies two areas that are particularly worth focusing on: brand tone and brand image. To best achieve both, our UX designers rely on design systems. These are collections of reusable building blocks that ensure consistency while also reducing complexity in the design and development process. Design systems have been around for some time, but they are becoming increasingly important given the fast-paced demands placed on digital brands.
However, the need for consistency isn\u2019t limited to a brand\u2019s visual elements. Language is just as important a factor. This means finding a consistent tone that extends even to the smallest details, such as the labels on an app\u2019s buttons. To this end, the emerging field of UX writing offers a systematic approach with guidelines\u2014such as corporate language sheets\u2014that ensure brand consistency across various applications. Choosing the right language can play a key role in making the brand come to life and appear credible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ethical Awareness and Sustainability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/test.itsonix.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Ethical-1024x622.jpg\")

Our UXD team is increasingly confronted with ethical issues in its work. Taking sustainable aspects and the interests of society as a whole into account is becoming increasingly important in digital product design. This trend creates a tension between companies, customers, and social responsibility. It is therefore worth taking a closer look at this development in the final part of our series.
At IT Sonix, we see it as our responsibility not only to find sustainable solutions to the challenges of our time, but also to go beyond the minimum legal requirements to achieve them. For example, we have firmly embedded the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into our corporate philosophy. These include, among other things, a focus on inclusive design and gender equality. In addition, we take care to avoid involvement in ethically questionable projects.
Occasionally, however, our UXD team also finds itself in complicated situations. For example, data analysis might suggest that car-sharing providers avoid parking their vehicles in certain areas because the rates of vandalism and crime are higher there. As a result, not all segments of the population benefit equally from car-sharing services. This gives rise to ethical difficulties and considerations. Instead of expanding the sharing economy for everyone for reasons of efficiency and sustainability, this latently reinforces prejudice and isolation toward socially disadvantaged areas. A purely usage-centered UX process runs the risk of neglecting the interests of society as a whole.
To address issues like these as effectively as possible, some of our employees have founded a sustainability guild. This guild promotes awareness of sustainability across all areas of the company and consistently drives the practical implementation of our sustainability and climate goals. For UX designers, the challenge of the future will be to develop ethical product designs that balance the competing interests of business, customers, and society as a whole.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

The next trend identified by our UXD team is the use of augmented reality in the B2B world. While many people today still associate AR with the entertainment and gaming industries, the integration of AR elements into production and service processes will play an increasingly important role in the future. Here at IT Sonix, we\u2019re already receiving a growing number of inquiries along these lines.
For the transportation and logistics industry, where we have a significant customer base, such integration can be of considerable importance. For example, we have developed a fleet management system that supports truck drivers in their daily work. The application provides information on navigation, vehicle data, and driving and rest periods. It is available as a smartphone app and on a dedicated handheld device in the vehicle.
Our UXD team has developed a use case that involves integrating AR elements into this product. For example, drivers could wear an AR headset when picking up their freight at the warehouse. Enriched with the right data, the headset could display not only the actual surroundings but also which cargo fits into the truck. It\u2019s also conceivable that the system could provide loading suggestions\u2014for example, based on the order of delivery. It could even incorporate rules and regulations and, in the event of imminent violations, not only warn drivers but also prevent the truck from starting.
At first glance, the possibilities for integrating AR elements into production and service processes seem virtually limitless. The challenge facing UX designers in the future will be not only to demonstrate the necessary innovative thinking but, above all, to develop applications that offer economically sustainable benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Development of Smart Digital Assistants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
In the third installment of our series, we\u2019d like to focus on the development of intelligent digital assistants.
Chatbots are probably the most widely used tool in this segment. They are used in customer support and in many other points of contact between companies and their customers. UX designers see new challenges, particularly in making these bots smarter and more efficient.
Through the development of smart assistants for large call centers, we have already gained relevant experience in the areas of speech recognition and navigation. Based on responses\u2014as well as their wording and intonation\u2014the assistants determine how to adapt the customer service script to positively and purposefully influence the course of the conversation.
The key to developing intelligent digital assistants lies in comprehensive user research. It is essential to analyze users\u201e language habits. Only in this way can we thoroughly determine whether the digital assistant should have multiple language registers (technical terms, plain language, etc.) and when it should use which register. In addition, the most common use cases and the most relevant questions for each specific context must be identified. This enables our UX designers to give their digital assistant a \u201cpersonality\u201d that aligns with its scope of responsibilities. To train the algorithms behind digital assistants, IT Sonix maintains close collaboration between employees from the UX design and data science departments. This collaboration will become increasingly important in the future, as the number of digital assistants and their complexity continue to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minimizing Complexity with UID Simplicity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
In this post, we\u2019d like to draw attention to a trend that brings together two seemingly opposing processes in the world of UXD.
UX designers are currently facing challenges on two fronts. While the complexity of features continues to increase, the pursuit of minimalism in design remains a constant. As interfaces integrate more and more data sources, it is all the more important to design user interfaces that are intuitive and easy to understand.
Modern, high-performance UX products must provide solutions for complex, interlinked workflows across all modules in order to meet ever-increasing demands. At IT Sonix, we have gained experience with such complex use cases, particularly in the field of vehicle logistics.
If a delivery vehicle breaks down, both drivers and fleet management staff must act quickly. They must arrange for the shipment to be transported to its destination and have the damaged vehicle taken to the nearest repair shop. This requires additional personnel (drivers, towing services, etc.). Everyone involved in the process needs fast, accurate, and clear information tailored to their specific role\u2014such as the truck\u2019s location or the status of the delivery.
For this task management solution, our UXD team developed a design system that could be integrated into a dashboard, among other places, to visualize complex issues. The dashboard provides all essential information about critical events requiring action at a glance. This allows drivers to respond to changes quickly and independently, without the need for time-consuming follow-up inquiries. The basic version is minimalist and includes all essential features. As the level of interaction increases, so do users\u2019 expectations of this basic version and their desire for a broader range of features. The product offers our customers the option to activate add-ons via in-app purchases.
The challenge for the future will continue to be translating complex relationships and large amounts of data into a minimalist user interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Branded Interaction Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
In the penultimate installment of our series, we\u2019d like to take a closer look at the interplay between brands and UX.
As the number of digital products continues to grow, brands must ensure that they provide a consistent, unified, and recognizable customer experience. Brands are \u201ealive\u201c and, now more than ever, subject to constant change. But it\u2019s not just products that are changing; the touchpoints between companies and their customers are also increasingly digital. The sum of these interactions is crucial to how a brand is perceived. Digital touchpoints are now of fundamental importance for successful brand design and communication. Emerging virtual environments (such as metaverses) require an ever-wider range of brand-specific design and thus create a growing need for consistency across all products, services, and touchpoints. The goal is to bring the brand to life in a digital world.
This is exactly where UX designers can step in and make a valuable contribution to a brand\u2019s design and perception. In this context, our UXD team identifies two areas that are particularly worth focusing on: brand tone and brand image. To best achieve both, our UX designers rely on design systems. These are collections of reusable building blocks that ensure consistency while also reducing complexity in the design and development process. Design systems have been around for some time, but they are becoming increasingly important given the fast-paced demands placed on digital brands.
However, the need for consistency isn\u2019t limited to a brand\u2019s visual elements. Language is just as important a factor. This means finding a consistent tone that extends even to the smallest details, such as the labels on an app\u2019s buttons. To this end, the emerging field of UX writing offers a systematic approach with guidelines\u2014such as corporate language sheets\u2014that ensure brand consistency across various applications. Choosing the right language can play a key role in making the brand come to life and appear credible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ethical Awareness and Sustainability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Our UXD team is increasingly confronted with ethical issues in its work. Taking sustainable aspects and the interests of society as a whole into account is becoming increasingly important in digital product design. This trend creates a tension between companies, customers, and social responsibility. It is therefore worth taking a closer look at this development in the final part of our series.
At IT Sonix, we see it as our responsibility not only to find sustainable solutions to the challenges of our time, but also to go beyond the minimum legal requirements to achieve them. For example, we have firmly embedded the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into our corporate philosophy. These include, among other things, a focus on inclusive design and gender equality. In addition, we take care to avoid involvement in ethically questionable projects.
Occasionally, however, our UXD team also finds itself in complicated situations. For example, data analysis might suggest that car-sharing providers avoid parking their vehicles in certain areas because the rates of vandalism and crime are higher there. As a result, not all segments of the population benefit equally from car-sharing services. This gives rise to ethical difficulties and considerations. Instead of expanding the sharing economy for everyone for reasons of efficiency and sustainability, this latently reinforces prejudice and isolation toward socially disadvantaged areas. A purely usage-centered UX process runs the risk of neglecting the interests of society as a whole.
To address issues like these as effectively as possible, some of our employees have founded a sustainability guild. This guild promotes awareness of sustainability across all areas of the company and consistently drives the practical implementation of our sustainability and climate goals. For UX designers, the challenge of the future will be to develop ethical product designs that balance the competing interests of business, customers, and society as a whole.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

In the third installment of our series, we\u2019d like to focus on the development of intelligent digital assistants.
Chatbots are probably the most widely used tool in this segment. They are used in customer support and in many other points of contact between companies and their customers. UX designers see new challenges, particularly in making these bots smarter and more efficient.
Through the development of smart assistants for large call centers, we have already gained relevant experience in the areas of speech recognition and navigation. Based on responses\u2014as well as their wording and intonation\u2014the assistants determine how to adapt the customer service script to positively and purposefully influence the course of the conversation.
The key to developing intelligent digital assistants lies in comprehensive user research. It is essential to analyze users\u201e language habits. Only in this way can we thoroughly determine whether the digital assistant should have multiple language registers (technical terms, plain language, etc.) and when it should use which register. In addition, the most common use cases and the most relevant questions for each specific context must be identified. This enables our UX designers to give their digital assistant a \u201cpersonality\u201d that aligns with its scope of responsibilities. To train the algorithms behind digital assistants, IT Sonix maintains close collaboration between employees from the UX design and data science departments. This collaboration will become increasingly important in the future, as the number of digital assistants and their complexity continue to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minimizing Complexity with UID Simplicity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
In this post, we\u2019d like to draw attention to a trend that brings together two seemingly opposing processes in the world of UXD.
UX designers are currently facing challenges on two fronts. While the complexity of features continues to increase, the pursuit of minimalism in design remains a constant. As interfaces integrate more and more data sources, it is all the more important to design user interfaces that are intuitive and easy to understand.
Modern, high-performance UX products must provide solutions for complex, interlinked workflows across all modules in order to meet ever-increasing demands. At IT Sonix, we have gained experience with such complex use cases, particularly in the field of vehicle logistics.
If a delivery vehicle breaks down, both drivers and fleet management staff must act quickly. They must arrange for the shipment to be transported to its destination and have the damaged vehicle taken to the nearest repair shop. This requires additional personnel (drivers, towing services, etc.). Everyone involved in the process needs fast, accurate, and clear information tailored to their specific role\u2014such as the truck\u2019s location or the status of the delivery.
For this task management solution, our UXD team developed a design system that could be integrated into a dashboard, among other places, to visualize complex issues. The dashboard provides all essential information about critical events requiring action at a glance. This allows drivers to respond to changes quickly and independently, without the need for time-consuming follow-up inquiries. The basic version is minimalist and includes all essential features. As the level of interaction increases, so do users\u2019 expectations of this basic version and their desire for a broader range of features. The product offers our customers the option to activate add-ons via in-app purchases.
The challenge for the future will continue to be translating complex relationships and large amounts of data into a minimalist user interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Branded Interaction Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
In the penultimate installment of our series, we\u2019d like to take a closer look at the interplay between brands and UX.
As the number of digital products continues to grow, brands must ensure that they provide a consistent, unified, and recognizable customer experience. Brands are \u201ealive\u201c and, now more than ever, subject to constant change. But it\u2019s not just products that are changing; the touchpoints between companies and their customers are also increasingly digital. The sum of these interactions is crucial to how a brand is perceived. Digital touchpoints are now of fundamental importance for successful brand design and communication. Emerging virtual environments (such as metaverses) require an ever-wider range of brand-specific design and thus create a growing need for consistency across all products, services, and touchpoints. The goal is to bring the brand to life in a digital world.
This is exactly where UX designers can step in and make a valuable contribution to a brand\u2019s design and perception. In this context, our UXD team identifies two areas that are particularly worth focusing on: brand tone and brand image. To best achieve both, our UX designers rely on design systems. These are collections of reusable building blocks that ensure consistency while also reducing complexity in the design and development process. Design systems have been around for some time, but they are becoming increasingly important given the fast-paced demands placed on digital brands.
However, the need for consistency isn\u2019t limited to a brand\u2019s visual elements. Language is just as important a factor. This means finding a consistent tone that extends even to the smallest details, such as the labels on an app\u2019s buttons. To this end, the emerging field of UX writing offers a systematic approach with guidelines\u2014such as corporate language sheets\u2014that ensure brand consistency across various applications. Choosing the right language can play a key role in making the brand come to life and appear credible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ethical Awareness and Sustainability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Our UXD team is increasingly confronted with ethical issues in its work. Taking sustainable aspects and the interests of society as a whole into account is becoming increasingly important in digital product design. This trend creates a tension between companies, customers, and social responsibility. It is therefore worth taking a closer look at this development in the final part of our series.
At IT Sonix, we see it as our responsibility not only to find sustainable solutions to the challenges of our time, but also to go beyond the minimum legal requirements to achieve them. For example, we have firmly embedded the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into our corporate philosophy. These include, among other things, a focus on inclusive design and gender equality. In addition, we take care to avoid involvement in ethically questionable projects.
Occasionally, however, our UXD team also finds itself in complicated situations. For example, data analysis might suggest that car-sharing providers avoid parking their vehicles in certain areas because the rates of vandalism and crime are higher there. As a result, not all segments of the population benefit equally from car-sharing services. This gives rise to ethical difficulties and considerations. Instead of expanding the sharing economy for everyone for reasons of efficiency and sustainability, this latently reinforces prejudice and isolation toward socially disadvantaged areas. A purely usage-centered UX process runs the risk of neglecting the interests of society as a whole.
To address issues like these as effectively as possible, some of our employees have founded a sustainability guild. This guild promotes awareness of sustainability across all areas of the company and consistently drives the practical implementation of our sustainability and climate goals. For UX designers, the challenge of the future will be to develop ethical product designs that balance the competing interests of business, customers, and society as a whole.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

In this post, we\u2019d like to draw attention to a trend that brings together two seemingly opposing processes in the world of UXD.
UX designers are currently facing challenges on two fronts. While the complexity of features continues to increase, the pursuit of minimalism in design remains a constant. As interfaces integrate more and more data sources, it is all the more important to design user interfaces that are intuitive and easy to understand.
Modern, high-performance UX products must provide solutions for complex, interlinked workflows across all modules in order to meet ever-increasing demands. At IT Sonix, we have gained experience with such complex use cases, particularly in the field of vehicle logistics.
If a delivery vehicle breaks down, both drivers and fleet management staff must act quickly. They must arrange for the shipment to be transported to its destination and have the damaged vehicle taken to the nearest repair shop. This requires additional personnel (drivers, towing services, etc.). Everyone involved in the process needs fast, accurate, and clear information tailored to their specific role\u2014such as the truck\u2019s location or the status of the delivery.
For this task management solution, our UXD team developed a design system that could be integrated into a dashboard, among other places, to visualize complex issues. The dashboard provides all essential information about critical events requiring action at a glance. This allows drivers to respond to changes quickly and independently, without the need for time-consuming follow-up inquiries. The basic version is minimalist and includes all essential features. As the level of interaction increases, so do users\u2019 expectations of this basic version and their desire for a broader range of features. The product offers our customers the option to activate add-ons via in-app purchases.
The challenge for the future will continue to be translating complex relationships and large amounts of data into a minimalist user interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Branded Interaction Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
In the penultimate installment of our series, we\u2019d like to take a closer look at the interplay between brands and UX.
As the number of digital products continues to grow, brands must ensure that they provide a consistent, unified, and recognizable customer experience. Brands are \u201ealive\u201c and, now more than ever, subject to constant change. But it\u2019s not just products that are changing; the touchpoints between companies and their customers are also increasingly digital. The sum of these interactions is crucial to how a brand is perceived. Digital touchpoints are now of fundamental importance for successful brand design and communication. Emerging virtual environments (such as metaverses) require an ever-wider range of brand-specific design and thus create a growing need for consistency across all products, services, and touchpoints. The goal is to bring the brand to life in a digital world.
This is exactly where UX designers can step in and make a valuable contribution to a brand\u2019s design and perception. In this context, our UXD team identifies two areas that are particularly worth focusing on: brand tone and brand image. To best achieve both, our UX designers rely on design systems. These are collections of reusable building blocks that ensure consistency while also reducing complexity in the design and development process. Design systems have been around for some time, but they are becoming increasingly important given the fast-paced demands placed on digital brands.
However, the need for consistency isn\u2019t limited to a brand\u2019s visual elements. Language is just as important a factor. This means finding a consistent tone that extends even to the smallest details, such as the labels on an app\u2019s buttons. To this end, the emerging field of UX writing offers a systematic approach with guidelines\u2014such as corporate language sheets\u2014that ensure brand consistency across various applications. Choosing the right language can play a key role in making the brand come to life and appear credible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ethical Awareness and Sustainability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Our UXD team is increasingly confronted with ethical issues in its work. Taking sustainable aspects and the interests of society as a whole into account is becoming increasingly important in digital product design. This trend creates a tension between companies, customers, and social responsibility. It is therefore worth taking a closer look at this development in the final part of our series.
At IT Sonix, we see it as our responsibility not only to find sustainable solutions to the challenges of our time, but also to go beyond the minimum legal requirements to achieve them. For example, we have firmly embedded the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into our corporate philosophy. These include, among other things, a focus on inclusive design and gender equality. In addition, we take care to avoid involvement in ethically questionable projects.
Occasionally, however, our UXD team also finds itself in complicated situations. For example, data analysis might suggest that car-sharing providers avoid parking their vehicles in certain areas because the rates of vandalism and crime are higher there. As a result, not all segments of the population benefit equally from car-sharing services. This gives rise to ethical difficulties and considerations. Instead of expanding the sharing economy for everyone for reasons of efficiency and sustainability, this latently reinforces prejudice and isolation toward socially disadvantaged areas. A purely usage-centered UX process runs the risk of neglecting the interests of society as a whole.
To address issues like these as effectively as possible, some of our employees have founded a sustainability guild. This guild promotes awareness of sustainability across all areas of the company and consistently drives the practical implementation of our sustainability and climate goals. For UX designers, the challenge of the future will be to develop ethical product designs that balance the competing interests of business, customers, and society as a whole.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

In the penultimate installment of our series, we\u2019d like to take a closer look at the interplay between brands and UX.
As the number of digital products continues to grow, brands must ensure that they provide a consistent, unified, and recognizable customer experience. Brands are \u201ealive\u201c and, now more than ever, subject to constant change. But it\u2019s not just products that are changing; the touchpoints between companies and their customers are also increasingly digital. The sum of these interactions is crucial to how a brand is perceived. Digital touchpoints are now of fundamental importance for successful brand design and communication. Emerging virtual environments (such as metaverses) require an ever-wider range of brand-specific design and thus create a growing need for consistency across all products, services, and touchpoints. The goal is to bring the brand to life in a digital world.
This is exactly where UX designers can step in and make a valuable contribution to a brand\u2019s design and perception. In this context, our UXD team identifies two areas that are particularly worth focusing on: brand tone and brand image. To best achieve both, our UX designers rely on design systems. These are collections of reusable building blocks that ensure consistency while also reducing complexity in the design and development process. Design systems have been around for some time, but they are becoming increasingly important given the fast-paced demands placed on digital brands.
However, the need for consistency isn\u2019t limited to a brand\u2019s visual elements. Language is just as important a factor. This means finding a consistent tone that extends even to the smallest details, such as the labels on an app\u2019s buttons. To this end, the emerging field of UX writing offers a systematic approach with guidelines\u2014such as corporate language sheets\u2014that ensure brand consistency across various applications. Choosing the right language can play a key role in making the brand come to life and appear credible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ethical Awareness and Sustainability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Our UXD team is increasingly confronted with ethical issues in its work. Taking sustainable aspects and the interests of society as a whole into account is becoming increasingly important in digital product design. This trend creates a tension between companies, customers, and social responsibility. It is therefore worth taking a closer look at this development in the final part of our series.
At IT Sonix, we see it as our responsibility not only to find sustainable solutions to the challenges of our time, but also to go beyond the minimum legal requirements to achieve them. For example, we have firmly embedded the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into our corporate philosophy. These include, among other things, a focus on inclusive design and gender equality. In addition, we take care to avoid involvement in ethically questionable projects.
Occasionally, however, our UXD team also finds itself in complicated situations. For example, data analysis might suggest that car-sharing providers avoid parking their vehicles in certain areas because the rates of vandalism and crime are higher there. As a result, not all segments of the population benefit equally from car-sharing services. This gives rise to ethical difficulties and considerations. Instead of expanding the sharing economy for everyone for reasons of efficiency and sustainability, this latently reinforces prejudice and isolation toward socially disadvantaged areas. A purely usage-centered UX process runs the risk of neglecting the interests of society as a whole.
To address issues like these as effectively as possible, some of our employees have founded a sustainability guild. This guild promotes awareness of sustainability across all areas of the company and consistently drives the practical implementation of our sustainability and climate goals. For UX designers, the challenge of the future will be to develop ethical product designs that balance the competing interests of business, customers, and society as a whole.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

Our UXD team is increasingly confronted with ethical issues in its work. Taking sustainable aspects and the interests of society as a whole into account is becoming increasingly important in digital product design. This trend creates a tension between companies, customers, and social responsibility. It is therefore worth taking a closer look at this development in the final part of our series.
At IT Sonix, we see it as our responsibility not only to find sustainable solutions to the challenges of our time, but also to go beyond the minimum legal requirements to achieve them. For example, we have firmly embedded the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into our corporate philosophy. These include, among other things, a focus on inclusive design and gender equality. In addition, we take care to avoid involvement in ethically questionable projects.
Occasionally, however, our UXD team also finds itself in complicated situations. For example, data analysis might suggest that car-sharing providers avoid parking their vehicles in certain areas because the rates of vandalism and crime are higher there. As a result, not all segments of the population benefit equally from car-sharing services. This gives rise to ethical difficulties and considerations. Instead of expanding the sharing economy for everyone for reasons of efficiency and sustainability, this latently reinforces prejudice and isolation toward socially disadvantaged areas. A purely usage-centered UX process runs the risk of neglecting the interests of society as a whole.
To address issues like these as effectively as possible, some of our employees have founded a sustainability guild. This guild promotes awareness of sustainability across all areas of the company and consistently drives the practical implementation of our sustainability and climate goals. For UX designers, the challenge of the future will be to develop ethical product designs that balance the competing interests of business, customers, and society as a whole.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
