Last week, the time had finally come again. For the fourth year in a row, our X-Force was represented at CAGGTUS Leipzig. With nearly 2,300 participants, CAGGTUS is the largest LAN event in the German-speaking world and has long since become a must-attend event for countless gamers in and around Germany. With over 22,000 visitors at the expo, the previous record was also broken.
We competed in the main tournaments with a LoL (League of Legends) team. Even though we didn’t achieve major success, our X-Force put up a valiant fight. A well-coordinated team and joint training sessions laid the foundation for a solid mid-table finish. Things went better for us, especially in the smaller tournaments. In Teamfight Tactics, one of our Xperts secured third place. We also had success offline in the Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament, where an X-Force member took second place.
Those who weren't participating in the official competition passed the time by playing a round of Minecraft or PEAK as a team, for example, with the focus primarily on having fun.
Our X-Force brings together employees from different projects and departments. It promotes cross-company collaboration as well as opportunities for personal growth outside of work. It is important to us to create an environment where our employees feel comfortable and can freely develop their potential. The time we spend together on the CAGGTUS is part of this initiative.
We are proud of our Xperts and are already looking forward to the next CAGGTUS.
