Last week, we once again held our Business Happen—a special event that combines industry insights, networking, and practical inspiration. This time, the focus was on a topic that couldn’t be more relevant right now: artificial intelligence. We were pleased to welcome Max Mundhenke, a speaker who understands the AI landscape like few others. In his presentation, „AI Transformation in Companies—From Vision to Implementation,“ he highlighted what really matters when introducing AI and which factors are key to a successful transformation.

In the early evening, our guests arrived at the premises of our parent company, Akkodis, at the Alte Messe Leipzig. The atmosphere was marked by lively discussions and a palpable sense of anticipation for the evening’s presentations. Mundhenke’s presentation was very well received: he guided the audience through key steps in the transformation process in a clear, precise, and vivid manner. During the Q&A session that followed, a lively exchange took place, with many participants sharing their own challenges and perspectives.

No business event is complete without finger foods, so afterward, all attendees were treated to some tasty bites from our catering partner, Rasselbock. The casual get-together provided the perfect opportunity to reflect on the professional insights shared and to make new connections.

The brief overview of our own AI experiences provided additional value: Our AI expert, Dr. Danny Hucke, discussed how we develop AI solutions in a pragmatic way and embed them throughout the organization. The focus was on which steps have proven effective and where companies often need support.

The event concluded with a joint panel discussion featuring Mundhenke and Dr. Hucke. The two discussed how to successfully implement AI transformation in practice and which hurdles and goals are realistic. It quickly became clear that use cases must be identified first and foremost before AI is even purchased or trained. AI isn’t a sure thing, and it’s important to give employees enough time to familiarize themselves with the new technology first. The desired time savings won’t materialize without seriously engaging with the tools and the prompting process. The discussion then gave way to an open Q&A session with our guests: a fitting conclusion to an inspiring evening.

Why do we host Business Happen?

Because we want to create spaces where knowledge can be shared, questions asked, and ideas explored—grounded in real-world practice, presented in an accessible way, and always with a focus on delivering real value to organizations. Business Happen is our way of helping to contextualize developments, bring different perspectives together, and collectively drive forward topics that shape the future.

A heartfelt thank you to Max Mundhenke and Dr. Danny Hucke for their valuable insights, as well as to all the attendees for this inspiring evening.
