Once again this year, we were represented at the award ceremony for the Germany Scholarship at MLU Halle-Wittenberg. A total of 91 new scholarships were awarded in the auditorium—more than last year and a sign of how successfully the program continues to grow. In her opening remarks, President Prof. Dr. Claudia Becker emphasized that the program’s success is due above all to the ongoing and dedicated efforts of many people.

The supporting program offered insights into various university activities, including a brief spelling experiment that marked the 150th anniversary of the Department of German Studies. In addition, interviews addressed questions regarding the selection of the nearly 450 applicants as well as the importance of long-term funding relationships. These insights were concise but provided a good overview of the diverse impact of the scholarship program at MLU.

For us, the primary focus of our funding is on bridging the gap between scientific fundamentals and practical software development. Many of our projects are based on research findings that we further develop in collaboration with universities. At the same time, we place great importance on giving students early insights into real-world technological challenges. Participation in the Deutschlandstipendium provides a reliable framework for this: it gives students the freedom they need while strengthening their connection to the professional world.

Our experts work every day to develop solutions that are scientifically sound and, at the same time, address specific needs within organizations. Sponsoring this scholarship is therefore a natural step for us. It supports dedicated students and helps actively share knowledge and guide future professionals on their career paths. We look forward to continuing this partnership in the years to come and further expanding the exchange between the university and the professional world.
