As part of our Easter campaign this year, we decided not to give gifts to our employees and instead supported the „Schulstart“ project in Leipzig run by the nonprofit Lumos – Stark für Kids e. V. The goal of the initiative is to help children from low-income families ease into school life.
Thanks to our donation, more than 270 back-to-school kits were provided. These kits include, among other things, colored pencils, rulers, scissors, paintbrushes, watercolors, and other basic supplies for everyday school life.
Commitment to Education with Academic Connections
In addition to targeted funding initiatives, such as support for the „Schulstart“ project, we maintain close cooperation with universities and colleges. Through our Scientific Advisory Board and by designing and implementing educational programs such as the master’s module „Agile Development of Application Systems,“ we foster a continuous exchange between theory and practice.
Our experts regularly contribute to teaching through guest lectures and discuss current developments—such as the use of artificial intelligence—directly in the lecture halls. In addition, we offer working students the opportunity to gain practical experience in various areas of the company and to further develop their skills in a real-world project setting.
Contributing to Greater Educational Equity
Through our support for the „Schulstart“ project, we aim to make a tangible contribution to greater educational equity. Providing basic learning materials creates better conditions for a successful start to school—regardless of social background.
