At IT Sonix, shared moments are part of our daily work routine. In addition to meetings and project work, small activities in the office provide a great opportunity to strike up conversations with one another. Last week, a particularly nice opportunity arose for this. One afternoon, a group of our Xperts transformed the X Lounge into a small Christmas bakery.
String lights, a modern Advent wreath, and soft background music featuring Christmas classics like „All I Want for Christmas Is You“ created a festive atmosphere. Together, they mixed dough, kneaded ingredients, and cut out festive shapes. Then the baking sheets went into the oven, after which the freshly baked masterpieces were decorated with great patience and precise craftsmanship.
The results were a sight to behold—and, above all, a treat for the taste buds. Colorful decorations, intricate details, and a generous dose of creativity made each cookie a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Those who weren’t decorating at the moment looked over the shoulders of others or took the opportunity for a brief chat, far removed from tickets and deadlines. And so, a few baking sheets of cookies turned into a relaxed afternoon filled with good conversation. When it came time to taste the sweet treats, the verdict was unanimous: absolutely delicious and a real highlight in the pre-Christmas rush.
Joint activities like these demonstrate the many ways in which collaboration at IT Sonix can take shape. In addition to technological challenges and demanding software development projects, it’s often the little moments that strengthen our bonds and bring us closer together as a team.
