We cycled, walked, jogged, swam and some of us even went inline skating. Over the past few months we have moved kilometres together for our planet and that in almost all imaginable weather conditions. In the final stretch we gave it our all to reach our goal of 77,777 km and we were successful. With 79,199 km we even exceeded our own target and are happy to be able to plant 92 trees for this year in cooperation with PLANT-MY-TREE®. That's right. For every person who foregoes the prize, we plant an additional tree.

Over the last few years, the number of participants and the kilometres we have set out to cover have risen steadily and we are pleased with the lively commitment of our employees. To make our "move IT" as attractive as possible for everyone, all non-motorised outdoor sports activities are allowed. The competition contributes to physical well-being and helps us save CO2 at the same time.

Because physical exertion also requires energy, we got together for a small barbeque party on our terrace during the hot phase of the competition to spur each other on to achieve the last few kilometres. The "move IT" barbeque in the autumn is an annual fixture in our calendar and we were able to enjoy the last warm hours of sunshine together above the roofs of Leipzig.

We are already looking forward to next year's registration numbers and will give an update on the tree planting once it has taken place.
