For just over a decade now, Move IT has been getting our Xperts moving: for their own health, team spirit, and a more sustainable future.
With our latest Move IT event, we’re celebrating a small milestone: six years of the Tree Planting Initiative and an impressive 500 trees that we’ve earned together during this time. Since 2020, for every 1,000 kilometers we’ve covered, we’ve been planting trees together with PLANT-MY-TREE® a tree in the region. This is how we combine a competitive spirit with a sustainable goal.
Launched in 2012 as a cycling-only contest, this in-house competition has long since become an integral part of our corporate culture. Today, it includes all outdoor activities that don’t involve motorized transportation. Whether it’s running, hiking, swimming, or cycling, every kilometer helps us make a difference together.
Our Move IT embodies what makes our team at IT Sonix special: dedication, community, and responsibility. For many of our employees, participating in Move IT is a regular fixture on their annual calendar. The friendly Move IT barbecue in the fall, in particular, is a highlight every year. On our terrace, we enjoy the last warm rays of sunshine, share stories about our athletic experiences, and celebrate our shared successes.
Over the years, our Move IT initiative has grown steadily—not only in terms of numbers, but also in terms of significance and impact. What began as a small internal competition has become a symbol of sustainable action and a corporate culture put into practice.
This competition wouldn't be possible without our employees. Thank you to all the Xperts for their dedication. We're already looking forward to racking up kilometers again this year and working together to do more for climate protection.
