Since 2019, we have been developing a billing service for customer-specific cases in the powercloud billing system for Leipzig-based SENEC GmbH. In February 2020, we also took over the modernisation of the Partner Installateur Portal and added innovative functions. Furthermore, in 2022, we implemented a predictive maintenance system for the maintenance of electricity storage units.

Objectives
The aim is to make SENEC's energy-related billing process more efficient - especially with regard to customer-specific special cases. Since 2020, we have also taken over the entire renewal of the interface of the Partner Installateur portal and are adapting it to mobile devices. We have also developed a predictive maintenance system for electricity storage units based on a neural network (ANN). The application uses live data to detect defective devices at an early stage.

Results
The billing service has been in use since June 2020. It successfully processes a large part of all billing cases and maps various special cases and subcontracts. The go-live for the new trade partner portal was in August 2020. It was revised, a design system was created and modernised. The new application provides SENEC with a neural network-based predictive maintenance system that is both innovative and efficient. Integrated into live operation, it easily detects devices that need to be maintained.
Outlook
After the go-live of both projects, the successful cooperation will be continued. The billing system is to be expanded to process further special cases or future contract types. A continuous improvement of the trade partner portal is intended and extensions with future-oriented functions such as "Cloud to go" and "E-Mobility" are already planned.
