Our Work for Fleetboard
Since 2011, we have been handling a wide range of tasks in the areas of project management, software development, and software design for Daimler Truck AG. Together, we are developing a cross-platform solution for truck telematics—from the vehicle itself to the backend, the Fleetboard Cockpit, the Fleetboard app, and the graphical user interfaces.
We are currently also assisting this globally successful commercial vehicle manufacturer with the transition from the Fleetboard Cockpit (legacy system) to an innovative cloud-based solution (Fleetboard Portal).

Daimler Truck AG Fleetboard offers telematics-based services for the cost-effective management of logistics processes and commercial vehicles. Data from transport management, vehicle management, and time tracking are consolidated into a central interface that includes a map view. The information can also be integrated into existing freight forwarding software via public interfaces. Communication with vehicles and drivers takes place via proprietary hardware solutions.
The platform is used internationally by companies in the logistics, retail, and fleet management sectors—including Edeka, Tesco, Aldi, and large vehicle fleets such as CharterWay.

Fleetboard Features
IT Sonix developed core functions for the Fleetboard Cockpit and played a key role in implementing a high-performance transportation and time management system. This included the development of customized scheduling and order management solutions, the integration of third-party systems such as SAP and Salesforce, and the provision of real-time data on vehicles, supply chains, and cold chains. In addition, IT Sonix supported the development of cloud-based services for managing driving and rest times and ensured the legally compliant processing of relevant driver data.
