At the weekend, we were represented at the Job Fair in Nuremberg. Together with the IT Cluster Mitteldeutschland and Invest Region Leipzig, we represented Leipzig and the surrounding area as an attractive IT location.

The Job Fair Nuremberg is part of the successful Job Fair Germany concept of BARLAG werbe- & messeagentur. With a total of 19 participating cities nationwide, the fair is one of the most successful recruiting events in Germany.

From 21 to 22 October, the fair was held in Nuremberg and offered numerous exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to get to know each other better. We also took advantage of the opportunity and got to talk to many interested people. The density of international applicants interested in jobs in software development was striking. Our Xperts were able to give them valuable tips for starting a career in Germany.

Since the IT sector in Nuremberg is comparatively small, we used our visit to the fair primarily to introduce the visitors to the attractiveness of our company and the IT region of Leipzig. From our conversations with the applicants, we learned that many of them had already been to Leipzig and could also imagine making the city the centre of their lives in the future. For two days, we engaged in a lively exchange with the visitors and were able to win one or two talents for further talks.
