On 12 November 2024, the doors to our IT Sonix offices opened for a truly special occasion: we celebrated 15 years of successful collaboration with Daimler Truck AG employees. For over a decade, we have closely collaborated to shape the telematics project Fleetboard, a modern, future-proof solution for fleet and logistics management.

The event was marked by heartfelt reunions, in-depth discussions, and an inspiring look back at the project’s milestones. Over the years, IT Sonix has become an integral part of the Fleetboard system, transforming it from a high-performance legacy system into a modern, cloud-based platform. Together with Daimler Truck AG, we created a solution that connects 170,000 trucks worldwide, enabling logistics companies to collect and utilise data in real time. We have been continually motived by the challenges that arose in the project.

At the end of the first day, we wrapped up the celebrations with a social gathering and our special Fleetboard cake. A lavish buffet and a relaxed atmosphere provided the perfect setting to share countless smiles and exchange shared experiences and memories. Conversations about past successes and future opportunities highlighted how the project has evolved over the past 15 years, adapting to the industry's changing demands.

On the following day, we focused on planning the next steps for the project’s future direction, along with a group lunch. In an informal setting, we discussed ways to optimise the Fleetboard system and make it future-ready. The celebration was not just a retrospective but a reaffirmation of our longstanding partnership and commitment to continue supporting the success of this telematics platform with our expertise.
