World Usability Day 2025
November 13, 2025 – Emerging Technologies and the Human Experience
Paulinum – Auditorium and St. Pauli University Church
200 guests
2 workshops
7 Presentations & 3 Pitches
The ninth WUD Leipzig took place on November 13 at the university’s Paulinum and drew nearly 200 participants. The Paulinum was already filling up half an hour before the event began, and at 9:00 a.m., Artur Schiefer (IT Sonix), together with Kio Gloeckner (Akkodis), opened the day and welcomed around 200 attendees.
Max Mundhenke kicked off the program with his keynote address on the responsible use of AI, followed by a variety of perspectives on conversational AI, relationship design, continuous research, and digital inclusion. Amid inspiring talks, practical insights, and concurrent workshops—ranging from AI co-creation to personal role reflection—there was also time for networking over coffee and refreshments. A special highlight this year was the debut of three selected pitches on AI in youth services, „comicifying“ surveys, and mixed-reality meetings, before the day came to a festive close and many guests took the opportunity to continue networking.
