Last week, our team gathered amidst the picturesque vineyards of the Weinberghotel Edelacker to create new memories together. As an employer with a feel-good factor, we provide a familiar atmosphere and attach great importance to offering our employees a well-deserved break from everyday life. Every year we take an opportunity to grow closer as a team, leave the office behind and celebrate a little.

The first few hours of our excursion were characterised by a warm welcome with sparkling wine on the sunny terrace, from where we could let our gaze wander over the rolling hills and vines of the winegrowing town of Freyburg. The barbecue buffet that followed offered culinary delights in abundance: from fresh salads and grilled cheese to juicy burgers. We ended the evening in a cosy atmosphere with a good drop of wine and music from DJ Erbse.

The next morning began with a sumptuous breakfast buffet that left nothing to be desired. Well-fuelled, we embarked on an informative morning full of exciting discussions and workshops on strategic considerations for the future. But the real highlight awaited us in the afternoon: the Highland Games. In various teams, we became modern-day clans, demonstrating our strength and skill in typical Scottish disciplines such as log throwing and barrel rolling. We passionately designed our own coats of arms and proudly wore them during the competition, where we measured our strength to the sound of cheers.

After an exciting competition, the winning team was finally crowned in the Scotland quiz grand final. In the afternoon, we travelled back to Leipzig not only with memories of a fantastic event, but also in anticipation of next year. It remains to be seen to where we will be travelling, but one thing is certain: it will be another unforgettable experience!
