Last weekend, we participated in the 25th Job Fair Leipzig, one of the most significant events of its kind in the region. With over 6,000 visitors and more than 180 exhibitors, the fair offered an excellent opportunity to connect with potential professionals and showcase our company as an attractive employer.

Our booth attracted a great deal of attention, with long queues forming at times. Many visitors were eager to learn about the diverse career opportunities we offer and gained insight into our company culture, which is characterized by openness, teamwork, and a positive work environment. People who had primarily worked in remote jobs or at large corporations were especially interested in the social and team-oriented aspects of our approach.

In addition to engaging with numerous IT professionals, the fair provided a great platform to connect with individuals seeking a career change, including those switching from scientific fields and international professionals, particularly from Ukraine and Russia. Many young people approaching the end of their school education also expressed interest in starting a career with us. Moreover, several individuals from the design field showed enthusiasm for our company. Speaking of design... our booth didn’t just stand out in terms of content—the design of our merchandise, especially our tote bags, received a lot of compliments.

Overall, we look back on two successful days at the fair, where we made many interesting connections and provided an authentic glimpse into our company culture. We also took the opportunity to promote our World Usability Day event on November 14th at the Paulinum of Leipzig University.

Our visit to the fair reaffirmed that IT Sonix remains an attractive destination for young talent and experienced professionals in the IT region around Leipzig.
