What originally began as a cycle contest has evolved over the years into an internal company sports competition for all non-motorised outdoor activities. Today we are starting the 13th season of our "Move IT" and want to break the 77,777 km barrier together again this year. But why are we actually doing this?

The basic idea of encouraging our employees to get more exercise outdoors and to leave the car behind for a walk or two is still a central component of the competition. The well-being of our employees is firmly anchored in our corporate philosophy. At the same time, the competition also strengthens sustainability awareness within the company. This is also the reason why we added an important aspect to the competition in 2020. Since then, we have planted a tree in the region for every 1,000 kilometres travelled. In addition, all participants have the option of waiving their prize, for which we also have a tree planted.

Last year, we sweated our way to 92 trees together, which were planted in cooperation with PLANT-MY-TREE®. We are excited to see if we can surpass our success this season and wish all participants lots of fun and motivation.
