We were at two events in the past few weeks. On 14 March, we exhibited at the BVMW's SME Future Day 2024 in Berlin and from 19 to 21 March at LogiMAT in Stuttgart. Both events provided a good opportunity to showcase our latest innovation projects. The main focus was on our comprehensive IoT solutions from our InterXPress project for preventive maintenance forecasting of logistics systems.
Despite being first launched in 2023, BVMW's Future Day for SMEs made the impression of being a long established exhibition with its smooth operation. In addition to numerous SMEs, the day also attracted representatives from politics and important German business associations to the premises of the former STATION Berlin railway station.
The digital transformation does not end with German SMEs. In order to remain competitive, more and more companies need support in the digitalisation of their processes. This is precisely where we see a good opportunity to drive the development of SMEs in Germany with our future-oriented software products. Our sales team had many stimulating discussions and made contacts that we will continue to develop together in the future. Among the interested parties were companies from Africa, for example, who were looking for co-operations. Many companies also approached us about our core areas of automotive and energy. Thanks to our successful projects with leading companies from the industry, we have years of extensive experience and expertise in these sectors and are always at the cutting edge of technology.
Our exhibit was a real crowd-puller. Numerous visitors marvelled at our warehouse model including a conveyor system and sensor with microphone and light barrier for preventive maintenance forecasting. It was therefore only natural that we should also present our InterXPress innovation project at LogiMAT in Stuttgart. For over ten years, the event has been one of the leading trade fairs for intralogistics solutions and process management. There we presented to an international audience together with our co-operation partner Axmann. The company specialises in customised and robust conveyor systems and has a large number of well-known customers. Together, we offer holistic solutions for the smart warehouse of the future. Using modern data science approaches and smart sensors, our preventive maintenance system is able to analyse a wide range of data (audio, vibrations, temperature, etc.) to determine the condition of a system. Speaking of systems, we were able to impress visitors at the “Future Day for SMEs” in Berlin with our miniature warehouse model, and Axmann's fully operational mini conveyor system, equipped with our maintenance system, made the joint stand one of the highlights of the trade fair.
The events have shown that smart software solutions for optimising processes are needed everywhere and will become even more important in the future. You can find more information about our projects here.
